I was driving up to my dad's house and happend to see this beautiful amazing bird in this tree! We have a lot of them around where I live but you don't see them very often. I have added pictures of the canyon where my friend and I go eagle watching. And yesterday 2/4/15 we found An eagle pirching next to his nest with his mate inside the nest laying on eggs. I named them George and Margie. When the eggs hatch and start appearing outside the nest we will get more pictures.

kellilee64 @tatertot30705 , @christyfx I totally believe that! I drove yesterday throygh a canyon near my home. The road follows right along The Yakina River. It was the time of day when the Eagles perch high in the trees searching the river for fish to swoop down on and have some lunch! My friend and I saw three different Eagles in three different places! We were so excited!! Tried to take pictures but we were too far for our cell phone cameras to get a good enough picture. The Eagles tend to perch in the same tree around the same time each day so we are going to go back with a better camera and try to capture some good pictures. I will post if I get some good ones!

kellilee64 @christyfx Wow that is so sweet of you!!! I didn't look at the size when I looked at the purple one so unfortunately it won't fit. Same for the pink ruffle one. And if I was to wear that pink one my kids and friends would say WHOO HOO!! Where did you come from!! Lol....I am a little conservitive when I dress! It is really pretty though! So kind of you to offer!! My friend and I are going to take better cameras tomorrow to hopefully see and take pictures of the Eagles!! I will post pictures. You are a really nice person !! I have found a lot of really wonderful women here on Posh!! Have a wonderful evening!!

nschalte when my daughter was about 1, there was an eagle circling around her...it was ready to grab her....these are very magnificent creatures...very beautiful. Out here, we see them all the time...along with moose in our backyard :)

nschalte @kellilee64 big is an understatement. .they're HUGE!😉 I've heard about eagles snatching small to medium size dogs feon their yards. It is scary!
