@veronickaj from the ll bean website: The general rule of thumb is: buy one size down in unlined boots and your usual size for lined boots. Also consider your socks- if you plan to wear with light or midweight socks, order one size down for whole sizes and 1 ½ sizes down for half sizes. If you plan to wear your boots with heavyweight socks order your normal size for whole sizes and one size down for half sizes. hope this helps!
