srnsb Hello, I’m interested in buying this coat! What is the outer material of the coat made of? Is it a heavy cotton or a nylon material? I do a lot of hunting for grouse in the mountains of WV and I want a coat that’s able to stand up to green briar thickets and heavy brush.

hhdavey22 @snseeba Hi there, it is a very durable, snag-free, water-repellant nylon material. Designed to not weigh you down and fatigue you for those all-day hunts. Performed well in willow thickets and brush busting without any wear. This was the third prototype and LLB fine-tuned it each time to incorporate my suggestions. We tried the same coat in a waxed cotton canvas and it was too heavy to wear all day especially when you added birds to the game pouch. Hope this helps.
