Closes with hook and loop. Some fuzziness where the horozontal hook and loop overlaps the vertical hook and loop - that may be on purpose. - Center compartment closes with a zipper which works as expected, pull is intact. Inside are two pen slots, a small mesh zippered pouch, a drop in pouch behind it, and an almost full-width drop in pouch closed with hook and loop. - Back compartment is full width with a hook and loop closure. Expandable zipper works as expected, pull is intact. In very nice used condition no stains outside or on the lining. All inside pockets are intact. There are two rubbed areas on the front where the main compartment zipper has rubbed on the fabric trim, see photo.
