These are totally preppy, wide legged, ankle pants that were designed by Liz Claiborne, a household name designer, who has been around since the 70’s. When I was young she made premium preppy apparel, and she was very popular and in demand. I can tell that this is one of her designs by just looking at it; it’s a great, preppy chic design for a more mature woman I would say, but, really it doesn’t matter. I love the thick chino material she’s working with; it has a thick texture like a heavy canvas material, it is high quality. And I love the wide legged, baggy silhouette, which is totally in style right now, so, essentially, this is Liz Claiborne’s take on this whole crazy, baggy trend. Besides the texture, there are so many little details that I love about these pants; I tried to capture as many as possible. These pants look very durable; they look like Liz Claiborne’s version of the Carhartt workman pants; as if to say that being a woman or a mom is just as tough. I love the statement; so true! Mom’s don’t get enough credit. I would style this with a more old school tennis shoe; anything simple and white would do, and I would complete it with a chic, oversized button down shirt with maybe the sleeves rolled up. idk, a baggy, preppy sweater would also suffice. The pants are in very new condition; there are no stains, markings, holes, tears or any other imperfections on it; it looks brand new.
