This vintage Lipper & Mann Inc. Americana plate measures 10.25" in diameter. No chips or cracks. This plate dates prior to 1963. Lipper & Mann started in 1946 as an importer of glass and ceramics from Czechoslovakia and other European countries. They acted as wholesalers, selling to department stores, home furnishings stores, and independent shops. In 1963, Lipper bought out Mann's interest in the company, and the name was changed to Lipper International, Inc. The company is still in business today. Fast shipping and careful packaging.
