This Rebecca doll is like new, it has been taken out of the box but never played with. I have three additional books that I am including as well! Rebecca's meet outfit is intended to imitate the fashions that were still somewhat conservative in dress during the mid-1910s, targeted for middle and working class Americans. In Meet Rebecca, the dress is stated to have been purchased from a mail-order catalog with the description "[r]ich garnet tweed for the sophisticated young lady."
