LG ArtMark Madonna Head Vase Planter Mary Baby Jesus Nativity Art Mark Japan

Hand painted Art Mark Madonna and child planter / head vase, made in Japan, probably from the 1960s when head vases were all the rage. Every one has a different face. This is the large one, they did make them in smaller sizes. I have other head vases so please check my other listings. Condition: Excellent original condition, no cracks. There is fine crazing overall, typical of these pieces. The interior is has a small amount of dirt/staining and does appear to have been used as a planter maybe, but not much if so. The fold on the halos has some discolored areas that look like tarnish, I think this is from the paint they used. I have given her a gentle clean on the exterior, it could probably use a more detailed one. Approx. size: 11" h x 7" w x 6" d S Keats said "A thing of beauty is a joy forever".
