beth_closet @amy_jo99 yes. my mother was a field science teacher and textbook author. It was hers. I believe she dug it out of the ground.

beth_closet @amy_jo99 I am sorry you have had to deal with either unscrupulous or ignorant folks in the past. This is real. If I have to drive 30 miles to the rock museum, pay the entrance fee and pay them to authenticate it, the price will have to go above $50.00
