Smith Moon And Stars Colonial Blue 18 Point Crimped Compote This particular piece is a vintage compote in the Moon and stars patten known for its distinctive design featuring star-like motifs and round depressions resembling moons. It is made by L.E. Smith, a well know glass manufacturer and is in the Colonial Blue color. The compote features a crimped or ruffled edge and a pedestal base, making it suitable for serving candy, fruits or as a decorative piece. Piece measures approximately 5 1/2 inches in height and 4 1/2 inches in width. Would make a great addition to your collection or a great starter piece to start your collection with. Very beautiful piece. In the last 2 pictures you can see two small white dots on the compote. These are in the glass itself and are not dirt or anything that can be removed.
