LARGE Tonala Owl Mexican Pottery Ceramic Owl Figurine Sculpture 70s Boho Decor

Mid Century Ceramic Owl. Rare, Large Size! Hand Painted and Signed Mexican Tonala in an earth tone color palette of soft peachy reds, clay, tan and black. Signature on the underside reads “Mancini 9” and “P”. Features hand-painted feathers, intricate floral motifs and other lovely flourishes. It has a burnished finish, large eyes and characteristic conical feet typical of Tonala pottery. SIZE: Measures 8” tall by about 7” long and 5” deep. A charming, stately and highly decorative piece for any mid century modern, bohemian or eclectic style home. CONDITION: Overall excellent condition with minor age-related wear and one note: a crack along the back (best shown in photos # 4 & 7). Feels sound and does not compromise the beauty of the piece.
