Kosher Salt (flakes)

The name kosher comes from ancient times where the large flakes were used on meat to remove the blood from the meat. It's has been very popular for an all around cooking salt because it is pure and contains no iodine like table salt. Most all chefs only use kosher salt. It is used for a finishing salt and less is needed and taste much better than table salt. Often is called cooking salt. Add to a bowl and Sprinkle on on all your dishes for a wonderful taste.
