Long story short, I have a vintage Kitchenaid Hobart 4c Mixer that I love. I wanted the whisk attachment so I found one (or so I thought) and purchased. It was listed as the exact one I needed. When it arrived it was too large so I uploaded a photo and asked chatGPT and it said it didn't fit because it's a 6-quart bowl-lift wire whip, designed for the Professional 600 / Pro Line / Commercial series mixers. Sigh.
