Kitchen Trivet Hot Plate Holder Hot Pad Custom Made Gift Bible Verse

I made this kitchen trivet (about 7 x 7 inches) from some reclaimed wood I had. We have a small art studio, West Hills Studio, and my particular areas of interest are reclaimed wood, wood burning, and I always, always make what inspires me. I sanded the wood, cut it to size with my saw, and then routered the edges. This particular day I was thinking about Isaiah 32:18, which says, My people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet gardens. I used my wood burner (not laser, I do this free hand) and made the bird design and the words on it. I finished it in some Danish oil. You could use this as a kitchen trivet or even as a piece of art. As you can see, I have it standing on a photo stand, and I think it looks great as an art piece too.
