Kenneth Jay Lane Macaw/Toucan Pin Resin Rhinestone

Kenneth Jay Lane’s iconic tropical bird pin is a well-known example of his whimsical unique design aesthetic. This pin, which he originally designed for Hattie Carnegie in the 1960s, was also reissued by his own company in the 1990s. There is no signature; this pin is usually found unsigned. Large and important, he measures a whopping 3 inches long and one and three-quarter inches wide. The condition is excellent – all rhinestones are bright and the gold tone is shiny with no darkening.
