colbesh @alyfeuerborn Hi! Great question. Are you referring to the bottom of the bag that, in the pictures, looks like an extra strap? There is no extra/longer strap, that strap of leather is just a design feature that runs along the base of the bag. Bag itself fits comfortably on should with room under arm (not too tight like some smaller handle bags). Hope this helps! Let me know if you need more detail, thanks!
