This is my original Keith Haring Swatch Watch from 1985. It is in very good condition, with a new band made of black leather. It’s functional but the crown mechanism is sticky, so time is set by battery insertion. Please let me know if you have questions or need further details.

Good afternoon! I just sent my humble offer. Still need to purchase the original band for the watch. I will truly take care of it, as I pass it along to our daughter. Thanks!

@dennisdmauricio Hi, I’m thankful for your interest, and I wish I were in a position to negotiate the price. The money is sorely needed, as I have had a series of setbacks recently. If you would like to contact me to discuss things, I’m at (504) 233-7299 (a google number).

@summerlinka hello! I sent another offer. It is my best. The watch does not have its original band. Looking for and buying the correct one as you know takes effort, time, cost. Respectfully, I really do hope this watch works well, keeps accurate time. Concerned about the winding mechanism you mentioned. Also, was able to acquire the same watch and with the original band and works perfectly for the same price I’m about to send you.

Sending that amount to you and not a lesser amount despite the above things I just mentioned. Being mindful of the financial need you mentioned. I wish you well!

I wanted to message you, post the photo of the price for the same watch. But it looks like I can’t, not allowed on Poshmark.

@dennisdmauricio Thank you for responding. I understand your reasoning, but I’m going to hold out for a number closer to the asking price. I’ll regret letting it go for too low, it has great sentimental value to me. I hope you can find one that has the original bands and no question on the crown.

@dennisdmauricio I had a local watchmaker look at it. He said that Swatches were made to be disposable, and he couldn’t get into it to look at the crown mechanism. It’s not broken, it doesn’t move consistently. He said an alternative to setting time would be taking the battery out and putting it back in again when it’s is at time where it had stopped. Not very convenient but it’s a back up if the crown did stop working. Best of luck sourcing another one, you seem like a really cool dad!

love this one, been looking for a bit. how does the strap attach to the case here? is it a spring bar or do you need to get something custom?

@1centspikes Hi, thank you for the query! The band attaches by the pin bar used with all the Swatches. I never wore it with the leather, so the straps are in pristine condition.

@1centspikes I’ve posted a few pictures to show the pins and the back side of the watch.
