This is a long shot, but I really want to get these out of my life. Only worn for a year, the engagement ring needs to be buffed and polished by a jeweler (the band rubs on one side of the ring). The band is a 10k white gold 1/4 carat ring. The engagement ring is a total weight between .50 and .60 points and the main stone is .20 points, 14k white gold. Bought at a grand total of $1800. These rings deserve a better place than my jewelry box the rest of my life!

I am a very solid buyer on here. A little more than I need to be. The necklace would be for my daughter but the little ring for me. Would it be ok for a pinky ring or look kind of strange?

@schandler completely understand, I always just offer the option 😊 I can meet you in the middle at $90. I'm not one for pinky rings myself, only had it on my pinky because my fingers are bigger than they used to be lol but my friends do it. It's not a stone so big that it looks like an engagement ring so I think it can be worn as a pinky or whatever you like 😊 the necklace is beautiful, I do love it but it needs a new home along with all my other pieces. I just can't stand to take these to a pawn shop!

@schandler definitely will do! I'll be honest with you since I know people are weird about buying this kind of stuff used. Not bad memories because we split on good terms, I just don't see the purpose in keeping them. My mother kept her rings because she had her kids out of that marriage and they were together 13 years, I was married a little over a year. Just grew apart. So I don't want to hold onto them because I'm trying to move forward, not constantly remind myself that I'm already divorced at 22 lol. I'll never put them in a new setting or anything like that because I hope to have a new ring with the right person, so why not let someone else have them? They really are too beautiful to sit in a box forever!

@schandler the ring I believe is discontinued because when we bought it we got it out of their clearance stock. @schandler but the center diamond is a round cut diamond. If need be I could get it appraised if the paperwork for the ring doesn't turn up! I'll post a picture of the paperwork for the band!

@moore5692 , this will be my second marriage so I'm not too superstitious. I have my original ring but like you said I have 2 children and when the time comes for my daughter she can do what she wants with it. I was thinking maybe a pendant or something. I just didn't want you to take a huge hit if it could be re purposed.

@schandler I completely understand. I wish I could but I see no probable reason to. It would be like my dad giving me something from his first marriage, who is not my mother haha. It just feels all too weird to me to repurpose those diamonds especially because when I was married I loved wearing jewelry from my spouse. So I do expect that one day when I find the right person, I will feel the same. Plus the money could greatly benefit me right now, and I've held onto them until I felt like it was time to let go of them without feeling like I got ripped off by a pawn shop. I'm having the same issue with my wedding dress but those are even harder to Sell because everyone wants the "dress shopping" experience.

@schandler hi there! So I have some updated information. Apparently my ex is a liar, haha. I went to a jeweler today to get the correct weight. The main stone is .20 points and the total weight be between .50 and .60 points. So the whole ring together is a total weight of half a carat, as oppose to the whole carat. They are able to do a written appraisal for $75 if you wanted official paperwork. The wedding band is the correct amount however, it is 1/4 of a carat 10k white gold. Also we are still on for your bundle tomorrow right?
