suzyh1971 What are the measurements from underneath the armpit to the other arm pit to see if it goes around my bust? How long is the coat from the collar down to the length? How long are the arms from the top shoulder seem to the cuff of your hand? Thank you very much in advance. Do you have labels inside the code that you can show? daisyfitch @suzyh1971 so this is my in law’s coat. I’m selling it for her. I know it’s real mink and it’s from Kaufmann’s purchased a few decades ago for around $2500 back then. This was a store before Macy’s took over. I will get your questions answered when I get the extra information from her. May be later tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for your inquiry.

daisyfitch @suzyh1971 The width from armpit to armpit on the back is 21 1/2 in, armpit center to clasp on one side is 11 1/2 in making it 23 inches from side to side. The shoulder seam to cuff is 25 in, armpit underneath to cuff is 17 in. From shoulder in front to hem is 50 inches. From the tip of the collar in front to hem is 47 in. She said it is real mink and the collar is fox fur, but we couldn’t find a label other than the Kaufmann’s label. She is going to try to find any extra information.

suzyh1971 @daisyfitch thank you so very much for taking the time to do all those measurements from the under arm to the sleeve length is going to be too short I do have long arms in a long torso, so I really appreciate as I would want an accurate fit and not be unsatisfied with my purchase, but I have to tell you it is one of the most beautiful coats I have seen listed.!

mixedbarbie07 @daisyfitch hi are you sure the measurements you provided is accurate? Because I’m comparing to my other jacket and in the post you say it’s a M but my coat is a large and some parts you measured sound bigger than it? Is there a tag on the coat that says medium? Also the person in the picture, how much do they weigh and their height?

daisyfitch @mixedbarbie07 the measurements are accurate. I had to guess at a letter size because this is a true vintage mink coat from my mother in law that doesn’t have a size on it. I was trying to estimate a size for the way things are measured in today’s day and age. Back in the day it was probably a large, so maybe I should have put M/L. The person in the photo is 5 foot 3 inches , 160 pounds, but there was still some room. If you have any more questions don’t hesitate to ask.
