These Like New 50s inspired sandal pumps feature a Farragamo style heel, undercut to provide a vertical line from head to heel to ground, supporting the body under its natural center of gravity. The original anatomically correct heel was designed for Marilyn Monroe. It is this heel, combined with an elegant mini platform, which will make these your most comfy heels. The reptile embossed leather will be happy with dressy jeans or gowns, and everything in between. I did not wear these and am reposhing as the heel was still too high for my arthritic feet and ankles. If I could have worn these, I would have a cobbler add a thin rubber sole to the forefoot to add grip and extend the life of the shoes.
