trisplussize @hottamolly33 I've had the same issue. I love KanCans but the material makes a big difference. The plus jeans have either 1) no stretch 2) tiny bit 3)have a more giving material. I've found the more giving material makes a huge difference. So I would either size up or inquire the material percentages. That's what has worked for me in the past. hope this helps you.
