The armpit-to-armpit measurement was taken with the jacket lying flat across the front. I know an XL jacket is typically around 25” pit-to-pit but size can vary depending on Brand. I will check again and get back to you.

jackipoo @nelsonst405 Hello again. Once again...sorry for the delay in responding. I've been trying to update this listing showing the measuring tape pit-to-pit at 27" but the system keeps freezing. I'm not sure if it's my desktop software or an issue on the website but the measurement indicates 27" across the front...pit-to-pit. Thanks again for visiting my closet and have an awesome afternoon.
