KPM (Konigliche Porzellan-Manufaktur) is a hugely successful porcelain manufacturer in Berlin that has been in business for more than 250 years. The factory continues to produce porcelain by hand today, using the same secret recipe for their white clay made from kaolin, feldspar, and quartz.
This KPM pattern is only known as KPM-102 and has a beautifully-modeled leaf and flower. The fine bisque porcelain has raised swirls and dots and is adorned with a 24kt gold hearts & vines border. The sugar bowl measures 3 3/8 inches tall by 3 inches wide and is in excellent vintage condition with just a part of the raised stem of the flower broken off (see photo). The KPM sceptre and green orb marks are on the bottom (see photo).
