KOSTA BODA Art Glass Bottle / BERTIL VALLIEN For Atalje / HAND BLOWN / Signed

Bertil Vallien was born in Sweden in 1938 and is one of the world's leading glass sculptors. His art is drawn upon the enormous treasure of myths and legends through the ages. Bertil’s glass art is represented in eminent art museums, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. This hand-blown bottle is from Vallien’s ATALIER series and has an applied red rim. Also, the red glass lines on the front of the bottle are different on each one, making each piece unique. The bottom is signed ‘Kosta Boda, Atalje 422/1, B. Vallien’. The bottle measures 5.75 inches tall by 3.25 inches wide and is in excellent condition (see photos).
