KMET began broadcasting at 94.7 MHz in L.A. on May 2, 1966 KMET was famous for its "underground" progressive rock format, nicknamed "The Mighty Met" and went off the air on Feb 14, '87, a 21-year run.
Around June 1978 KMET started its weekday themes promotion which also included "Manic Monday," "Tantalizing Tuesday," "Hump Day Wednesday" "Champagne Payday Thursday" & "Fish Report Friday"
I have found no other shirt like this that is currently available. It is is very good - excellent vintage condition. Missing Label. No Holes No Stains Ringer Style Single Stitch Measurements: armpit-to-armpit 18.5" neck-to-hem 23" Has a bit of stretch to it.
Back of shirt shows KMET upside down which is how the station often promoted it's Logo.
