Swarovski crystals encrust this very extravagant apple minaudière. Kathrine Baumann is the celebrated handbag maker to the stars, whose minaudieres may nearly always be seen at the red carpet. This extraordinary find has two chains; one studded with red stones and the other a lovely gold colored elegantly patterned chain. They can both be stored in the purse without taking them off the attachments in case you might like to use it as a clutch. The chains are approximately 48 inches long. This presents regally. .The list price for this was $2,200.00. It was an edition of 500, produced in the 1990s. The only re-sale I could find in my research for a pre-owned Snow White's Red Apple Minaudiere was at 1st Dibs for $1,850.00. Our treasure opens and closes well. Lining is worn (see photos) and I would probably have it replaced with a non-metallic leather. The Katherine Baumann label is inside but I could not get a camera inside the purse.
