The album's title, 'Leftoverture' is a made-up blend word that refers to the leftover compositions from the bands' previous album. 'Leftoverture' was indeed the bands' breakthrough album, racing to the Top-5 on the US Billboard 200. The albums' lead single 'Carry On Wayward Son' became the band's first Top-40 hit, reaching #11 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The second single 'What's on My Mind' along the with album cut 'The Wall' received much acclaim, substantial FM airplay and continues to be a mainstay on classic rock radio and streaming platforms.
