Judy Moody Declares Independence Book

Judy Moody Declares Independence is a book about a third-grader named Judy who, after a trip to Boston, becomes inspired by the American Revolution to write her own Declaration of Independence. She tries to gain more freedoms, such as a higher allowance, but her parents insist she prove she's responsible enough. Her attempts to gain independence, including staging a "Boston Tub Party," don't go as planned until a real-life crisis involving her brother, Stink, gives her a chance to show her courage and quick thinking.
