Judi Gaston Hand-woven Multi-colored Fringed Open Front Jacket, One Size

Fiber art to wear by Tennessee-based fiber artist Judi Gaston. Relaxed fit, hand-woven, open front jacket in brown, black, and rust colors. Can be worn draped open or tied with fiber belt (included). A small fringed collar lays along the back shoulders and is attached to shoulder seams. The 3/4 length kimono-style sleeves end in fringe. There is also fringe along the side seams and the front openings. Fabric: Silk, rayon and cotton. Hand wash, lay flat, or dry clean (recommended). Recommend storing in a sweater fold rather than from a hangar. Measurements: One size. When closed, the jacket is 24-1/2 inches across the chest. Back length: 24-1/2 inches. Sleeve: 13 inches. Gaston was designated a Tennessee State Treasure in 2011 and inducted into the Tennessee State Museum Fashion and Textile Institute in Nashville. Her fiber works are in museums and private collections. Pre-owned, in excellent condition.
