@marie6162 hi, i have several of these style gown that i wear often-the lace part at the top is soft and stretchy-not stiff or bristly. If you are well endowed on top, it keeps you in place also and provides a measure of support. I personally find this style of jonquil gown very comfy, but to be fair my gowns have all been washed many times over and a new one like this may be less soft at first on especially sensitive skin
