I have confirmed with employees of the manufacturer that this appears to have been a sample piece that was never sent into production. It is a genuine denim shirt, and the old school stiff, dark denim was used to make it. Because it was a sample, the shirt does not have all the traditional fabric makeup tags, or paper tags attached from the manufacturer. It is heavy and thick and definitely has not been worn or washed. It has pearlized snaps on the front, chest pockets, and sleeves. The shirt says,"western" in all its details.
