John Deere Vintage Decorative Plate 1991 RARE This John Deere Decorative Plate is rare! This oil painting was commissioned by Deere & Company for their 100th anniversary in 1937. This collectors plate is the first of a series featuring John Deere painting by Walter Haskell Hinton and produced by Lee Wayne Company Inc. It is 1 of 5000 produced. It was produced in 1991. This plate belonged to my father in law who was a third generation John Deere dealer. His grandfather began the first John Deere dealership in upstate NY in 1940.
