The Blue Garland pattern is known for its elegantly sculpted porcelain body and floral motif, reminiscent of traditional Victorian dinnerware, and was popular from its inception in 1974 until its discontinuation around 1990.  Johann Haviland, a German company that began producing fine china for export to the United States in 1937.
