Joey Dee Rock and Roll Collector's Item 1961 Satin Jacket Memorabilia.....525

This authentic Joey Dee and the Starliters champagne colored satin jacket is an original piece of memorabilia from 1961. It's embroidered with the name of the band "Joey Dee and the Starliters" in purple, although it looks dark blue in the pics. In black, it says "Peppermint Lounge". There is a mock-up of the famous Peppermint lounge in aqua. It also states the year the jacket was made. The front of the jacket says "Rock n' Roll" in purple with a depiction of two people dancing in 60's fashion. I've had it for 45 yrs and only wore it once for Halloween. It's been carefully stored except for when I've taken it out to show it off. Joey Dee performs the song, "Peppermint Twist" named for the lounge in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1W3a2SO858 The jacket is 64 yrs old and in good condition. ***** It does have some imperfections***** which are quite small and not very noticeable. I honestly never noticed the imperfections until I looked carefully for these photos. The paint has come off of all the snaps so they are silver.
