lutek Hi. What is the width of the calf and how wide is the ankle area? Thank you!

acquiredthreads @lutek Hi! I’ll get those measurements for you this evening as soon as I get home, doll! Thanks for your questions! 😊

acquiredthreads @lutek The shaft opening measures approximately 7.5” across in width (doubling that would make the circumference roughly 15”). The calf width of the the boot measures approximately 7” across. The ankle of the boot measures approximately 6.5” across. (wearing these myself, they seem to have plenty of wiggle room in the ankle area). All of these measurements are taken with the boot laying flat and without pulling or stretching the leather.

lutek @coffeecrazymeg hi! Sorry have not had time to measure my calf and ankle. My most problematic issue is getting my foot in the boot and thus I am worried about the ankle shaft not being wide enough. I see that you also have these boots in size 9. Are the boots a lot larger around the calf and ankle? One more question, do you thing these boots would slouch? 🤩

acquiredthreads @lutek Hi doll! These boots don’t really slouch much for me. I wear them in a size 8. I can take some more measurements to help you make the best assessment on size when I get home this evening. I know it’s tricky buying online when you can’t actually try them on so I’ll definitely do my best to take accurate measurements for you. 😊

acquiredthreads @lutek Trying these boots on again, I couldn’t imagine anyone not having enough room in the ankle area of these boots just because of the way the ankle is designed. Measuring across one side of the ankle area on the outside (with boot laying flat and without pulling or stretching them) it’s approximately 6.5” (double that for circumference). Inside the boot’s ankle area, it’s extremely roomy but these boots don’t slouch because they hold their structure quite well.

acquiredthreads My calf’s circumference measures about 14” and there’s still plenty of room in there for me to fit my hand (minus my thumb, if that makes sense? Lol!) I hope that makes sense and helps you some. I’m happy to measure anything else you need hun. It’s truly no trouble at all. 😊

acquiredthreads @lutek I do have these in a size 9, like you said, but, if your foot/shoe size is a true size 8, and you’re considering sizing up purely for ankle room, I would suggest sticking with the size 8. These boots take some initial breaking in, but I promise, once that’s done, they fit you like a glove being genuine leather. Took me about a week tops to get them to that point, but I was obsessed with them and wearing them every day 😂

acquiredthreads @tamigp Hi there! So it looks like the offer expired for you but no worries. Just hit the offer button and offer $38 instead of $40 to account for the shipping discount I offered before. We can take it from there. 😊
