m_scheinholtz I wanted to share something I recently learned about this pin. Joan has a sort of famous egg pendant known as the DEAREST pendant. I believe the letters stand for Diamond, Emerald,Amethyst,Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, Topaz. Same on this basket.

m_scheinholtz @the_trinket_box you are welcome. I didn’t want to come off as a big expert. But I thought you and potential owners might want to know. Not sure of origin of “ DEAREST” - it might have come from her husband, Edgar, who she dearly loved & received many pieces of jewelry from, or her daughter, Melissa. Melissa is carrying on Joan’s fashion business- Edgar, did precede Joan in death due to tragic suicide.
