Joan Miro original, matted lithograph

This 1956 lithograph by famed postmodernist Miro comes in its original mat. A strikingly simple piece, it embodies the Spanish master's style with the use of clean lines, whimsical shapes & limited color. A black circular line in the center could be a necklace or bracelet, & is set almost entirely inside a gold circular shape offset at the bottom of the piece. This repetition of similar shapes & the only color found in the piece work to pull your eye continuously around the piece. Exceptional!
