Hi. Is the medium size similar to size 8? I find the sizing of JK items inconsistent.

@planetkaren yes but that depends on whether you wear it at your true waist or lower. If at your true waist, this may be big (relaxed, it measures about 25 inches). If you prefer to wear it lower, then this would be perfect. Hope this helps.
