What area is the imperfection at? And also do they have a lot of stretch

It's on the hip, it's only noticeable when you get up close to it like I did. And it's not a bunch of stretch but there is some stretch, it's an elastic waist and I believe it fits a size 10-12. I'm a 14 and it's too tight on me.
