@2ccarlino2 hi I pulled from the old Nordstrom listing but I think that part is referring to the inside of the boot. The outside is all leather / shiny as you mentioned. I posted two photos of how it looks on the inside if helpful!

Hi I just checked the boots and the stamp inside just says Made in China so I would assume it is a synthetic leather outside
