Jeannette Glass Windsor Handled Cake Plate Uranium Glass YES IT GLOWS!

Vintage Jeannette Glass Windsor pattern handled cake plate, also known as a sandwich plate, made of green uranium (vaseline) depression glass.  This specific pattern was produced by the Jeannette Glass Company between 1936 and 1946.  The plate is characterized by its distinctive green color, which glows under UV light due to the presence of uranium in the glass. SEE PICTURES It measures approximately 10 1/2 inches in diameter and 12 1/2 inches across the handles.  There is one small chip on the edge of the plate.
