The platter is a vintage piece of iridescent glass, also known as carnival glass, in the Floragold Louisa pattern produced by the Jeannette Glass Company in the 1950s. The name Louisa was a collector's nickname given to the pattern due to its similarity to an older Westmoreland pattern. The color is often described as iridescent amber, Marigold, or peachy gold. The platter is round and measures approximately 13.5 inches in diameter. With a scalloped edge, it features a mold edged flora and vine design on the underside, while the top surface is smooth. This piece is beautiful and in very nice condition. There are no chips, cracks, breaks or damage to this piece. There is a manufacturer's drip mark. It appears as a darker area in the glaze. I point it out in the pictures with my finger. Non smoking pet free home.
