Japanese pottery - Ucagco rooster pitcher and creamer

Circa 1950’s from Japan, this old interesting square shaped matching pair each feature a rooster with apples. The pitcher has a cool triangular lid and an ice lip. The pitcher has a slight ‘out of the kiln’ wobble to it. Although no chips or repairs, both of these mid century Asian pieces have age cracks and significant crazing, which arguably add to their antiquity appearance. Discounted accordingly and still very attractive.
