Beautiful set of lusterware porcelain from Japan, probably midcentury or WWII era occupied Japan. Set includes sugar bowl, creamer, lid, and one teacup. There is a very fine hairline crack in the teacup, which is the most delicate piece, price reflects. The other pieces have imperfections from the manufacturing process (not chips, they are like indentations in the ceramic that were glazed over when they were made). The sugar bowl, lid and creamer are in great shape. Really lovely shine and metallic glimmer on the yellow glaze, and a unique color combination. No maker's marks. All will be very carefully packed to protect them for shipping. Wonderful little set for lusterware collectors.
