Stern Paris From the 1960’s Subject The art shows the dancer Jane Avril in a black dress with a yellow and green snake appliquéd around her body. She is also wearing an extravagant hat with red feathers. Artist Toulouse-Lautrec was a celebrity in Paris's Montmartre district and created posters for famous venues like the Moulin Rouge.
