Jack in the Pulpit Vintage Cobalt Blue Hand Blown Art Glass Artist Signed J Deandra Joseph "Joe" Jay Deandra entertained visitors at Dollywood as a Master Glassblower. He was born in Santa Barbara, Calif., on April 18, 1957. While earning his engineering degree in Southern California, he studied glassblowing as an elective. He eventually grew tired of working in a bioengineering facility where he crafted prosthetics and moved to Pigeon Forge in 1985. Mr. Deanda was hired at Dollywood based on his glassblowing skills and within a year he was promoted to Master Glassblower.
