This is the pair of "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" by Julia Child. The first volume was co-authored by Louisette Bertholle and Simone Beck. Copyright 1961, 1983, and 2001 by Alfred A. Knopf, a Borzoi Book. The second volume was co-authored only by Simone Beck, and the copyright dates are 1970 and 1983 with many reprints. This copy is from 1970. They came together in this attractive set. See all the pictures.
This pair is much sought-after, and would make a GREAT GIFT.
SIZE: Each hardback book measures 10" x 7.5" x 1.5". Volume I has 684 pages plus an extensive index, and Volume II has 555 pages before a great index.
EXCELLENT condition, unused. They are like new, only looked through. They come pristine in their sturdy cardboard case.
