JON VOIGHT Signed 8x10 Photo / DELIVERANCE, Midnight Cowboy, RAY DONOVAN / Oscar

Jon Voight was born in Yonkers, New York in 1938 and became interested in acting while attending Catholic school, eventually earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1960. Moving to New York City, he quickly got parts Off-Broadway and then on Broadway. Television roles followed and then, only one year after his first movie role, Jon rocketed to stardom as Joe Buck, the naive hustler in 1968’s “Midnight Cowboy”. Many films followed including “Deliverance”, “The Champ”, and his Oscar-winning role in “Coming Hone”. Modern audiences may know Jon for playing Liev Schreiber’s father for seven seasons on “Ray Donovan”. He is also the father of Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie. Jon signed this 8x10 photo in black Sharpie. It is in very good condition except for a small blemish just under the signature (see photo).
