It's gently pre-owned, in near-perfect condition, free of defects, damage, or signs of wear. In classic mermaid-gown style, it fits closely to about mid thigh and flares below that, the back part trailing on the floor as a train. Its most spectacular feature is a lavish asymmetrical display of sequins, beads, and simulated gemstones on the shoulder strap on the right side and the upper bodice on the left side (picture #9). The upper right and lower bodice has deep pleating, diagonal in the upper, horizontal in the lower. On the left side of the lower bodice is a spectacular starburst of simulated gemstones, mostly yellow, some clear (picture #10). It has a built-in bra, a clasp-and-zipper closure on the left side, and is fully lined in lustrous carmine-red fabric. The fabric, outer and lining, is 100% polyester, dry clean only recommended. The stated size is 14, but prospective buyers are encouraged to compare the measurements with those of a dress that they know fits well prior to purchase. Measurements are: chest, pit to pit 18.75"; waist 16"; hips 23"; hemline 54.5"; length in front neckline to hem 54.25"; length in back, neckline to hem 63".
