For Sale: This very rarely and hard to find FOILED SERIGRAPH which was hand signed by baseball god JOE DIMAGGIO and created by sports artist legend CARLO BENINATI is up for sale for only limited time. I purchased this serigraph approximately 15 years ago directly from Steinersports.com for $5000. It was only one of two being sold that night and only 4/5 all together. This rare serigraph is known as a Hors Commerce which is more valued than the artist proof version. The HC are usually taken by the artist and used as the artist see’s fit. They are usually a higher quality and very lower number of copies as seen here with only 5 copies that exist. I have search the internet and high end sports only auction sites and have not found 1 currently or in the past or have a record of one being sold recently or in the past that is from the same group as.mine.
